For a limited time, in fact once a month through the summer onlyBangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse offers a Surf ‘n’ Turf Sunday Brunch to suit the hungiest of appetites. Attractively priced at THB 1,588++ per person the Surf ‘n’ Turf Sunday Brunch is available from noon to 3 pm on every last Sunday of the month at the hotel's Praya Kitchen.

In addition to classic Thai dishes there is a wide selection of sea and freshwater crustaceans, shellfish and premium meats. Another highlight is the Oyster Bar offering a variety of oysters from around the world.

Thai food enthusiasts will have more than they can chew on at the Thai Station. Executive Chef Attapol Naito Thangthong and Chef Somkid Ketkaew have revived some of the rarest home recipes from their youth. These include Thailand’s favorite dishes from yesteryear, a time when Thai mothers or grandmas were responsible for dishing up unforgettable family meals. For example this rare treat from Chef’s Signature Station: Gaeng kua koong mangkorn, a spicy curry with lobsters and wild betel leaves.

The Thai Station also features Foie Gras with Banana Blossom Salad and the explosive Chicken Volcano served from a trolley. A great beverage paring for all these Thai treats is Ya Dong, or strong herb-infused Thai liquor...provided at no extra cost.

The Surf ‘n’ Turf Station features the Seafood Wall with 12 kinds of seafood including sea crabs, tiger prawns, and rock lobsters. The Butcher selections presents 55-day dry-age soft Thai sirloin and steaks from Australia and the United States, as well as lamb rib-eye from New Zealand.

The Sunday brunch is served at Yào Restaurant Corner and features a number of signature dishes from the hotel’s Chinese restaurant. Standout creations are Lobster Xiao Long Pao and Peking Duck.

Praya Kitchen also mimics the locak Bangkok street food vibe by offering such delights as BBQ pork with sticky ricedeep-fried prawn cakes and fish cakes.

Family friendly, the hotel lays on a DIY corner for kids to goof around in while parents and grown-ups can concentrate on brunching. Free for kids under 6 years old. Children aged 6 to 12 get a 50% discount.

Upcoming Sunday Brunches dates:
