If you have ever thought that 'afternoon tea' is the exclusive reserve of the British, well think again. The Japanese have a very soft-centre when it comes to afternoon delights!

Learn all about it this June at the Bangkok Marriot Hotel The Surawongse, as Chef Ibuki Matsumoto, acclaimed Tokyo pastry chef is in town to deliver a series of exclusive cooking workshops. He also finds time to create a sweet afternoon tea menu, which includes Tropical Moose, Mont Blanc, Arroz con leche, Pistachio creme brulée, Cream d'Anjou and mixed berry parfait. These sweet treats can also be taken away to be enjoyed at home.

The Japanese High Tea promotion is available between 23 - 29 June 2019, between 12:00 hrs and 18:00 hrs at the Hotel's Lobby Lounge. The 2 person set price is THB 750 ++.

To learn first hand from the master, cooking classes (followed by Japanese High Tea) are organised for Sunday 23rd (Mochi Ice Cream and strawberry), Friday 28th (Green Tea Parfait) and Saturday 29th June (Tiramisu Green tea) from 14:00 hrs - 17:00 hrs for THB 988 ++ per person.
