Food, culture, spas and shopping – there are several things that Thailand is repeatedly recognised for and in this issue we’re giving you a taste of each.

From beachfront eateries to Royal Thai cuisine, the country’s culinary prowess is legendary. Travellers can nibble on Michelin-starred snacks while discovering downtown Bangkok or try whipping up their own creations at one of the many cooking courses found throughout the nation.

When it comes to shopping, Bangkok can’t be beat, especially the stretch of Sukhumvit Road between Siam and Asok BTS stations that’s home to more sprawling shopping malls than you’ll know what to do with.

Art and culture also take centre stage across the country, whether it’s in the form of weaving traditional Thai silk, creating contemporary busts out of clay (as you’ll see with our cover artist), or even painting from British import and DJ, Goldie.
