Praya Kitchen, an authentic Thai buffet restaurant at the Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse, serves a delectable variety of fresh seafood at the Pak Nam Seafood Market every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.

Spice up your dinner with a parade of local favorites as well as one Chef’s highlights, such as lobsters served at your table. There is an array of fresh seafood at the “Seafood Wall”, featuring local sourced crustaceans such as Ayutthaya river prawns, Chantaburi mud crabs, rock lobsters, blue crabs, mussels and squid. Whether it is stir-fried with yellow curry powder, stir-fried with garlic, stir-fried with chili and salt or grilled, the choice is yours at the live cooking stations.

Other authentic Thai dishes are available, such as Yellow Curry with Crab Meat and Wildbetal Leaves Banana Blossom Thai Salad. The buffet also features seafood on ice and premium meats to please evert palate, including an array of Thai desserts and bakeries. 

Inspired by the Thai Ten Craftsmen concept, the interior of the kitchen is decorated with carved walls, which are hand-painted by local Thai artists. The sophisticated patterns depict scenes of Thai life, stretching back in time.

A highlight of the Thai restaurant are forgotten recipes, passed down from generation to generation, and now bought back to life in the Praya Kitchen. These simple yet sophisticated delicacies are recreated from the chefs’ childhood memories, using seasonal local ingredients. 

Pak Nam Seafood Night is available every Friday to Sunday from 18.00 hrs to 22.30 hrs at THB 1,388++ per person. A 50% discount is applied for children aged 6-12 years old while children below 6 years old eat free.
