Michelin has expanded its Thailand dining guide, upgrading several Bangkok establishments and bringing Phuket and Phang Nga into the fold for 2019. The launch of the vaunted guide in 2018 cemented Bangkok's place as a gourmet destination and the list honours local restaurants like Bo.Lan, Nahm and LeDu for bringing a fresh twist to Thai cuisine. Also included amongst the ranks are 2-Star honorees like Gaggan, where the chef has reconceptualised regional Indian flavours, and Suhring, a homely yet refined take on German fine dining and the only restaurant to gain a star since the last edit. Visitors to southern Thailand can enjoy recommendations for gourmet cuisine, seafood and street delights in the new edition.
