On 25 May - 1 June, revellers will flock to the shores of Chaweng Beach and sailing enthusiasts will swarm the waters of Koh Samui during the annual Samui Regatta. This prestigious event has become a highlight of the Southeast Asia sailing circuit over the course of 18 years and 2019 promises to be another exciting episode. Participants sail from Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and berths beyond with races offered for multiple hull types and even hydrofoils. Without a marina, Samui's regatta is truly an event on the waters, but the resort island also offers a bounty of onshore excitement.
